In this role, you will work autonomously, focusing on building relationships with local merchants, restaurants, and professionals by introducing them to our innovative payment solutions. This position emphasizes achieving results through fostering long‑term client relationships and generating recurring revenue.

What you’ll do
- Organize and manage your own daily schedule to visit various local businesses and professionals within your designated territory.
- Actively seek out new clients through direct outreach, local networking events, and referrals from existing contacts.
- Present and demonstrate SumUp’s payment products, clearly articulating their advantages and operational benefits to business owners.
- Assist clients through the digital activation process, guiding them from the initial meeting to the successful setup of their payment solutions.
- Utilize the Sidekick digital tool to track all sales opportunities and follow‑up actions, ensuring no potential client is overlooked.
- Cultivate and maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to drive long‑term growth of your portfolio.
- When available, manage qualified leads provided by the internal Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to maximize your sales potential.
- Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and strategies for effective sales techniques.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position SumUp’s solutions in the market.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your sales skills and product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to the SumUp team regarding clie
