Consultant (Energy), Economic Regulation AdvisoryIn this role you will join FTI Consulting’s new energy advisory team in Italy to help clients navigate energy markets, regulation and disputes. You will work with cross‑functional experts, applying techno‑economic data and modelling to deliver evidence‑based recommendations. The role blends market and transaction advisory with disputes and expert testimony, contributing to Italy’s evolving energy landscape. You will grow the practice through hands‑on project delivery, client interactions and thought leadership, in a global, supportive environment.

- Collaborate on energy, regulatory and sustainability engagements across market, transaction, disputes and expert advisory
- Gather and interpret techno‑economic data to inform recommendations
- Conduct research and prepare client and expert reports and analyses
- Perform quantitative analyses using FTI’s modelling tools and proprietary platforms
- Support analyses for arbitration, litigation and regulatory disputes (market, valuation, damages) with senior experts
- Participate in client meetings and present findings to diverse audiences
- Contribute to thought leadership and growth of Italy energy practice
- Support senior colleagues in pitch and proposal preparation
- MSc in a quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or Economics) xysqume
- up to 2 years of experience, preferably in energy consulting or industry
- Proficient programming (e.g., Python) and statistical/computational software (e.g., R, Stata, Matlab, Octave)
- Fluent in Italian and English
- strong analytical mind and ability to convey complex information clearly
