We are looking for a Global BU Operations HSE Manager to support and strengthen Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance across Business Unit Grid Automation.

The role focuses on operational environments (projects, service, and manufacturing), ensuring effective implementation of HSE standards, programs, and risk management practices. It provides guidance, coaching, and constructive challenge to operational teams, acting as part of the Second Line of Defence.

The Global BU Operations HSE Manager also contributes to the development and continuous improvement of HSE programs and represents the Business Unit within the HSE Operating System, ensuring alignment between global frameworks and operational execution.

Degree or professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

~ Recognized HSE qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

~8-10 years of experience in HSE roles within operational environments.

~ Solid experience supporting site operations and assembly-related activities.

~ Good knowledge of HSE management systems, auditing practices, and risk management methodologies.

~ Experience conducting audits, investigations, and root cause analyses.

~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.

~ Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

~ Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.

~ Support the implementation of the HSE strategy within BU operations.

Act as a visible HSE leader through regular site visits and direct engagement with operational teams.

Promote a strong safety culture by fostering accountability, ownership, and risk awareness at all levels of the organization.

Assess HSE performance across projects, service operations, and manufacturing sites through field visits and operational reviews.
