MARPOSS Italia - Field Application Specialist
Responsibilities
For our commercial division Marposs Italia site in Bentivoglio (Bo), we are looking for a Field Application Specialist for the line of new products related to the Machine Tools division.
The figure will have the task of supporting and managing the installation, commissioning and testing of new products and special applications, providing technical assistance and specific training at the customer's premises or at their premises. Acting as a bridge between the sales department and the end customer, the service technician ensures seamless integration between customer and product, ensuring that the product is used optimally. In addition, he provides on-site technical support and specific training in the required cases and at the same time carries out analyses and collects feedback to be reported to the internal design departments.
Profile
Graduates in engineering (preferably in the fields of electronics, automation or IT)
or graduates in equivalent technical subjects with experience in machine tools and/or automatics will be considered positively.
The role will be mainly multidisciplinary, with a clear predominance of service and support activities over design activities.
Preferred characteristics are:
- knowledge and experience in the use and operation of machine tools (numerical controls, milling machines, lathes, grinding machines)
- knowledge of ISO programming and G-codes
- knowledge of Industry 4.0, OPC UA and Industrial IoT topics
- knowledge of the English language (preferably technical English)
- willingness to travel to customers (mainly domestic and short-term)
Previous experience in the support and testing of control and monitoring systems on the machine tool will be appreciated.
