The Human Resources Division at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) serves as an enabler of FAO's strategic objectives by fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture. Our mission is to empower managers, leaders, staff and the affiliate workforce through strategic talent management practices, ensuring alignment with FAO's goals and values. In this context, the Division provides effective administrative function and serves as a strategic partner that delivers innovative, integrated, and forward-looking HR solutions.
FAO's Human Resources Division (CSH)



provides human resources (HR) strategies, policies, guidance, and oversight to FAO offices worldwide to ensure that the Organization attracts, develops, and retains a diverse, skilled, and highly motivated workforce capable of delivering on its mandate. The Human Resources Division focuses on developing and implementing a people-centered strategy and positioning HR as a strategic partner that actively contributes to the achievement of FAO's objectives.
The assignment is located in the Talent Management Branch of the Human Resources Division, at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.
CSH is establishing a roster call of qualified HR consultants and/or PSA (Personal Services Agreement) to support talent management related activities and initiatives on a short-term and intermittent basis.
Reporting Lines

The Consultant or PSA reports to an HR Officer or designated supervisor
