HSE Specialist - Construction | Solar, BESS, Wind

Location:
Milan, Italy (Hybrid)

Salary:
Up to around €60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Piper Maddox are supporting one of our key IPP clients in Europe with a
HSE Specialist
focusing on the delivery of utility-scale
Solar PV and BESS projects
across Italy.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high HSE standards throughout construction and commissioning, working closely with contractors, site teams and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Italian HSE legislation and company standards.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and contractor evaluations.
- Review RAMS, safety plans and HSE documentation.
- Manage non-conformities and support incident/near-miss investigations.
- Monitor HSE KPIs and drive continuous improvement.




- Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ HSE experience
in construction, ideally Solar, BESS or Wind.
- Strong knowledge of
D.Lgs. 81/2008 and D.Lgs. 152/2006
.
- Experience with
ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
.
- Strong contractor management and site-based HSE experience.
- ASPP/RSPP or CSP/CSE
qualifications desirable.
- Fluent Italian and good English.
- Relevant HSE, engineering or technical qualification.
