Asset Team Lead – Italy & Germany
Location: Italy (Hybrid/Remote)
Salary: Up to €80,000 + Benefits
About the Company
Piper Maddox are supporting one of Europe's fastest-growing renewable energy Independent Power Producers (IPPs), developing, financing, building, owning and operating utility-scale solar PV, BESS and onshore wind projects across Europe.
With a 10+GW development pipeline across Europe, the business is investing heavily in its long-term asset portfolio, targeting the delivery of approximately 1GW of new projects every year.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the business as it builds its Asset Management function from the ground up. You'll manage a growing portfolio across Italy and Germany, working closely with senior leadership to shape processes, influence strategy and support the growth of both established renewable assets and a significant BESS pipeline.
The role offers broad exposure across technical, commercial and financial Asset Management,



making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their responsibilities within a rapidly growing IPP.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets across Italy and Germany.
- Oversee external Asset Management providers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor technical and commercial performance, identifying optimisation opportunities.
- Support portfolio reporting, budgeting and long-term asset strategy.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the Asset Management function.

Requirements
- Experience in renewable energy Asset Management.
- Strong understanding of the Italian renewable energy market.
- Solar and/or onshore wind experience (BESS experience is advantageous).
- German language skills are desirable
- Commercial mindset with the ambition to grow within a fast-paced IPP.
