About the opportunity
Amentum is leading a joint venture (JV) delivering a Framework Contract for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC),



providing intellectual support services to the nuclear decommissioning programme across multiple European sites. The JV supports JRC in accelerating decommissioning and waste management activities through provision of technical and programme support services, including:
- Project and programme management
- Licensing
- Radioactive waste management
- Radiation protection
- Decommissioning and nuclear engineering
- Worksite management and safety
- Non-nuclear engineering
- Facility supervision and quality assurance

Job Purpose
Provide technical expertise for the management of radioactive waste arising from decommissioning activities at JRC facilities. Support the development and implementation of waste management strategies in compliance with Italian, EU, and IAEA regulations and standards.
