RINA is currently recruiting for a INTERNSHIP - CAPITAL PROJECTS & SUSTAINABLE FINANCE ADVISORY to join its office in Genoa or Rome within the Management Consulting & Sustainability Strategic Projects Division.

Mission

RINA is seeking an Intern to join its Capital Projects & Sustainable Finance Advisory team within the Management Consulting & Sustainability Business Unit. The role supports public and private clients across the full lifecycle of capital-intensive investment projects, from opportunity identification to project delivery. The intern will also contribute to activities related to participation in EU and national tenders, ensuring consistency with EU and national policy frameworks, and structuring financial instruments in collaboration with banks, promotional institutions, and financial partners. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop project management and advisory skills across strategy, financing, and project execution. The intern will gain hands-on experience in integrating financial, regulatory,



and technical considerations to support the development of sustainable and bankable investment projects, working closely with project managers and technical teams.

Key Accountabilities

The new team member will be involved across the full lifecycle of capital-intensive projects, covering strategy definition, financing design, and project implementation.
- Support Clients in the early strategic phase, helping define investment and financing strategies aligned with EU and national policy frameworks.
- Contribute to the analysis of policy compliance and eligibility criteria of relevant funding programmes, and support the review of business plans against targeted financial instruments.
- Assist in the preparation of Client's applications for grants, subsidized loans, or blended finance schemes, ensuring strategic and regulatory coherence.
