RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Sustainability Consultant to join its office in Genoa within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

MissionThe Junior Sustainability Consultant supports projects across a broad range of sustainability-related areas, including Climate Risk, Carbon Markets, Energy Efficiency and Management, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting & Target Settings, Product Sustainability Metrics, Sustainable Finance, ESG, and Sustainability Management.
The role requires a foundational understanding of sustainability principles, curiosity for emerging trends and regulations, strong analytical and research skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The Junior Consultant will work under the guidance of senior consultants, contributing to the execution of sustainability analyses and the preparation of technical deliverables.
Key Accountabilities GHG Accounting & Target Settings




- Support in performing GHG emissions inventories for companies and products.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for GHG targets and decarbonization strategies.
- Contribute to identifying potential areas for emissions reduction under supervision.

Product Sustainability Metrics
- Support the development and implementation of LCA/LCC/S-LCA/EPD/CFP models.
- Collect and organize data relevant to LCA/LCC/S-LCA/EPD/CFP analyses.
- Assist in conducting sustainability and circularity assessments.
- Learn and progressively develop proficiency in LCA software tools (e.g., Open LCA, PSILCA, Sphera GaBi).

Energy Efficiency and Management
- Support in energy audits and efficiency assessments.
- Assist in identifying potential areas for energy savings in various sectors.
- Contribute to ISO 50001 implementation and maintenance activities.

Climate Risk
- Assist in conducting Climate Change Vul
