What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of backend services that power Clara’s financial platform. You’ll own key architectural decisions and collaborate across teams to ensure our systems are performant, secure, and built to scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and wants to shape the future of backend engineering at Clara.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing robust backend services using Java , Spring , Spring Boot , and Spring Batch
- Architecting scalable, distributed systems and microservices that support our core financial products
- Modeling data and managing PostgreSQL and Redis for both transactional and caching needs
- Building and securing RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption
- Working with event-driven architectures
