Application Technical Leader DXC Technology We offer a dynamic role as an Application Technical Leader within our Application Service DXC Team, based in Milan with remote work possibilities. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced applications (upgrades or conversions). * Analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems using appropriate solutions/tools. * Collaborate with Client‐facing colleagues (Business Analysts and Project Managers) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. * Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. * Lead a small team, provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers while working with them on solution design. Education and Skills * Bachelor's or Master's degree (technical fields such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred). * Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, cloud‐based applications,



and Microservices architecture and patterns. * Strong technical experience writing code in Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, design patterns, architecture design, and SQL/NoSQL databases. * Familiarity with software development processes such as Agile and Waterfall, and DevOps practices. * Ability to work with web‐development tools for new applications. * Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. * Mid‐Senior level * Employment type: Full‐time * Job function: Engineering and Information Technology * Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting * Location: Milan, with remote work possibilities At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
