INTRODUCTION
Nidec is looking for motivated young talents to train and grow into the role of Field Service Technician, offering a hands‑on experience in an international and innovative environment.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
- Traveling technician for system start‑up and post‑start‑up support.
- Providing technical support to customers for the commissioning and post‑start‑up phases of medium voltage inverters and converters.
- Availability to travel approximately 70% of the time annually in Italy and abroad, following an initial training period on specific products.
SKILLS REQUIREMENT
- Education: Technical diploma in electrical/electronics or bachelor’s degree.
- Basic knowledge of power electronics, converters, and electrical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope).
- Basic knowledge of PLCs is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus (nice to have), but not mandatory.
- Language skills: good knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus.
- IT/application skills (Office,
Outlook).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn and travel.
