Offerta
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Act as the primary liaison between the Italian operations and the international headquarters, ensuring alignment on procurement, operational and commercial objectives.
- Lead the establishment and start-up of the company's Italian operations, including local supplier network development and operational infrastructure setup.
- Drive market development activities across Italy, identifying sourcing opportunities and building long‑term relationships with growers, grower groups and industry stakeholders.
- Support the legal, administrative and operational setup of the local entity,
coordinating with external partners and service providers.
- Provide regular market intelligence, crop forecasts and procurement updates to the international leadership team.
- Represent the company in the Italian fresh produce industry and develop the company's local presence and reputation.
Competenze ed esperienza
A successful Country Operation Manager - Fruit Apple & Kiwi should have:
- Extensive knowledge of agronomy, procurement, or fresh produce supply chains.
- A strong network of independent growers in Italy.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and operational management.
- Solid understanding of Temperature‑controlled supply chain and export processes.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on problem‑solving and innovation.
