Job DescriptionHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self‐motivated Control Center System Engineer. The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Italy.
Accountabilities
- Work Package Management
- Support the management of the full lifecycle of the OCC Work Package from design to commissioning
- Support or manage the planning, and deliverables in line with project milestones
- Monitor progress, costs,
and resource allocation
- Report status, risks, and performance to the WPL, to the Project Engineer and to the Project Manager.
- Contribute to the coordination of engineering activities related to OCC systems, including: System integration and external interfaces; oversee system architecture, configuration, and validation
- Support to ensure proper integration and standardization of all the different technologies in the Control Center like: Signalling systems, SCADA, Telecommunications (GSM-R / FRMCS, Power supply and trackside equipment
- Partecipate to the analysis and management of system and contractual requirements
- Support the Requirements Management Process for the Integrated OCC (requirements identification, allocation, traceability, etc.) making sure the requirements are development up to the final validation
