Job Overview

Adecco Financial Services is searching for an Office Purchasing employee for a leading company in the production and commercialization of food packaging.

Qualifications
- 5-10 years as buyer in production companies (experience in paper/plastic sector a plus)
- Knowledge of negotiation techniques and sourcing strategies for raw materials and support materials to production
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Proficiency with main IT tools and procurement software
- Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities
- Analyze and collaborate with the technical department on custom product procurement requests, defining material and service specifications
- Identify and select the most suitable suppliers, focusing on quality, reliability and cost,



negotiating purchase terms and conditions
- Update the vendor list, balancing saving objectives and risk
- Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring correct coding and description of ordered materials
- Monitor deliveries and quality of received materials, resolving issues with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to guarantee continuous improvement
- Participate in procurement process optimization projects and cost reduction initiatives
