Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Application Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing technical sales engineering team and drive growth across our Hardware Assisted Verification portfolio. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in hardware emulation, emulation offload and acceleration, FPGA prototyping, Design for Test (DFT), and power‑aware verification of complex SoCs to guide customer engagements, shape product direction, and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development. You will develop and mentor Field Application Engineers, ensure successful technical evaluations,
and represent customer needs across the organization. This is a high‑impact leadership position that requires strong technical credibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence roadmap decisions. The role involves regular customer interaction and requires up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Field Application Engineer team execution across technical sales activities for assigned portfolio and product line
- Guide evaluations and customer engagements with strong knowledge of emulation, offload and hybrid flows, prototyping, DFT, and power‑aware verification methodologies
- Present technical value and business impact—including return on investment, time‑to‑market, and productivity gains—to customers and executives
- Define success criteria for technical engagements and ensure competitive differentiation
- Partner with Sales and Account Directors on opportunity planning and multi‑year strategy
- I
