YOUR CHALLENGES
In this role as Office Manager, you'll be the central point of contact for the head office in Novara.
What does this mean specifically:
- Autonomously managing this office in terms of staffing, personnel management, and profitability regarding the trips performed and the set targets or objectives
- This includes several personnel-related responsibilities, such as granting leave, coaching and guiding employees to ensure efficient administrative execution of work, and analyzing the prices and profitability of the trucks deployed
- Actively seeking additional capacity by establishing partnerships with potential partners, ranging from subcontractors to potential charters
- Furthermore, existing relationships are further improved and optimized to vantaggi operations, such as actively visiting loading docks to minimize waiting times
- Acting as SPOC for customers,
growing volumes with them and investing in further development on other trade lanes or projects
- Finally, achieving the further expansion and growth of the office by actively approaching the market to acquire new customers
YOUR TALENTS
- Several years of experience in the transport or freight sector
- Management experience
- Sales experience
- Results-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Numerically oriented, analytical and communicative
- Assertiveness, independence and flexibility are indispensable in this role
- Market knowledge within Liquid Bulk and knowledge of, or experience with logistics and transport processes are an absolute must
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
