Job Description DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert to autonomously manage the design, implementation and maintenance of data pipelines, acting as a direct point of reference for internal stakeholders on Databricks-based solutions.
Responsibilities Autonomously manage the design and implementation of data pipelines using Databricks, from requirements to delivery
Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data
Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau, and various databases)
Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces
Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows
Maintain direct relationship with internal stakeholders/teams for requirements gathering and solution validation
Contribute to maintaining data engineering methodologies and standards within the team
Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for internal use and compliance
Requirements Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks.
Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep.
Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, proficiency in programming (especially Python, Scala).
Good understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Problem-solving skills and ability to work with operational autonomy.
Nice to Have: Databricks certification
Location: Rome, with lavoro da remoto possibility.

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
