SENIOR MARKET FACING UNDERWRITER

In this role you drive the strategy for Property & Liability risk in the Italian market and serve as the main contact for selected agents within the Mid-Corporate team. You support the local strategy to hit Allianz Mid Corporate targets and collaborate with sales, claims and other product lines to enable cross-selling. You ensure underwriting discipline and governance while contributing to product development and new business acquisition. You will work in a cross-functional, international environment to shape risk strategy and market growth. * Ensure underwriters comply with authority, pricing and rating guidelines * Steer and control the portfolio at local level to achieve financial targets * Liaise with functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting performance * Collaborate with Sales,



Claims and other product lines to execute marketing strategies including cross-selling * Maintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines and regulatory framework * Support development and implementation of new or modified products * Support acquisition of new business and retention (including agent/broker negotiations) * Communicate local business strategy externally * Master's degree in Engineering or Economics or Law * 9-15 years underwriting profitable Property (PD/BI and Theft) and Liability experience for Corporate Clients * Preference for experience with multinational clients * Proven leadership skills * Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration lifecycle Strong pricing knowledge and market analysis * Ideally experience in designing/implementing robust wordings * Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects * Ability to work in an international organization * Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) * Very good knowledge of Office 365 and other collaborative tools In this role you drive the strategy for Property & Liability risk in the Italian market and serve as the main contact for selected agent... #J-18808-Ljbffr
