The Senior Commodity Manager- Valves will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Positions requiring thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.
Typical Scope (Subsea Valves)
Commodity coverage:
- Subsea valves (ball, gate, check, HIPPS, choke valves)
- Machined components, forgings, castings




- Actuation systems and assemblies
- Supplier base: global (Europe, UK, US, India, Asia)
- Spend scope: typically multi‐million to $100M+ category responsibility

As a Senior Commodity Manager- Valves you will be responsible for:
- Establish and manage strategic supplier partnerships for subsea valves and critical components, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives, technology roadmaps, and project delivery requirements
- Lead the development, negotiation, and implementation of Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), frame agreements, and partnership models with key suppliers to secure capacity, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation
- Structure agreements to include pricing mechanisms, capacity commitments, lead‐time guarantees, quality expectations, and continuous improvement targets
- Drive collaborative supplier engagement models (early supplier involvement, design‐to‐cost, VA/VE initiatives) to
