Intern - Corporate Finance

The Intern will join the Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) desk, as support to the Corporate and Corporate Acquisition Financing team in Milan. She / He will be involved in: Responsibilities * Analysis of the existing and prospect clients of the bank in the context of financing transactions related to refinancing of existing debt facilities, capex, liquidity back-up lines, acquisitions; * Financial Modelling and Business Plan analysis for financings * Preparation of internal presentations and pitches * Preparation of internal papers to present financing transactions in credit committees; * Liaising with other teams of the bank in relation to transaction originated and / or syndicated by DOD * Preparation of post-transaction memorandum; * Monitoring of CLF Lending portfolio (exposures, RWA...) * Market, benchmark and comparable analysis through Dealogic, Loanconnector and internal tools * Analysis of main players within the Italian lending market (data analysis and PowerPoint presentations)

This experience will provide the intern with an unique opportunity to improve her/his knowledge of the loan market, with a focus on originating and structuring of loans for the large and mid‐cap Italian corporates Requirements Languages * Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus IT * Proficiency in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) * Knowledge of Bloomberg platform will be a plus Specialist Knowledge * Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects inherent Financial Markets/Intermediaries, Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting * Analytical and quantitative skills * Proficiency in writing and presentation skills * Previous experience
