Transaction Processing Officer - based in Luxembourg. This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Finance Directorate (FI), Planning and Settlement of Operations Department (PRO), Transaction Processing Lending Division (TPL), Special Operations Processing Unit (SPE) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a Transaction Processing Officer.
This is a full-time position at grade 5 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Purpose
You will contribute to the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, ensuring the Bank meets its commitments while effectively managing operational and settlement risks in a high-volume, high-criticality environment. In parallel,
you will support the transformation of the back office by leveraging data, automation, AI and emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), contributing to more efficient, resilient and future-proof financial operations processes. In doing so, you will bring a data-driven and technology-oriented perspective to traditional operational activities. The role combines solid financial markets transactional expertise with a growing focus on data analysis, innovation and technology adoption. It is designed as a profile combining financial operations with data and analytical capabilities, contributing to the evolution of the back office towards a more automated, intelligent and scalable operating model.
