Job Description

As a Front-End Developer at CyberOptik, you’ll be responsible for inputting client-provided content into selected designs, carrying out general data entry tasks for website builds, and performing front-end design/development work. While development experience is not a strict requirement, a keen eye for design is essential to ensure that the end product is aligned with both our quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Populate selected web design templates with content provided by clients, ensuring the layout and design meet project specifications.
Adapt color schemes/font usage on our template sites to match the client’s overall branding and aesthetic. The Creative Director will lead any specific brand usages, but the Front-End Developer will also ensure that the brand is used correctly and consistently throughout the site.
Perform data entry tasks to build out client websites, including text, images, and other multimedia elements.
Collaborate with other team members, including designers and project managers,



to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.
Make minor adjustments to website templates, including modifying CSS and HTML elements, to better align with client brand guidelines.
Conduct quality assurance checks to verify that websites function as intended across multiple browsers and devices.
Conduct page speed and general website function tests to ensure your work on the site is not causing it to slow down, or cripple the functionality of the site.
Suggest improvements to the overall site structure or functionality as you’re working on it. Such as arranging photos, content, etc.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of front-end languages such as HTML and CSS is required.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in aligning with design specifications and quality assurance.
Good sense of design and understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
