As Commissioning Engineer in our Catering Systems Division, you will hold the following responsibilities:

- Commissioning of refrigeration plant, brine chillers, and pump stations
- Setting up, testing, and inspecting new and existing Marine Refrigeration plants and systems on newbuild and existing vessels, in compliance with the agreed project specification
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations on board ships
- Troubleshooting for issues that may affect the project delivery, reporting nonconformity to manager and design office
- Being the point of contact for site technical commissioning activities as well as supporting the design team with final design, scope and specifications when required

Additional Responsibilities
- Report progress of works carried out during commissioning




- Organize and handle commissioning according to set deadlines
- Ensuring the work carried out follows ALMACO's quality standard

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Essential experience in working with HFC refrigeration systems, with additional experience in CO2 systems being advantageous
- Strong comprehension of the working philosophy of Bitzer screw compressors, along with the ability to configure xivgfpx air coolers and coolers equipped with EEV controls
- Excellent technical knowledge and hands‐on experience in working with refrigeration systems of various types and sizes
- Proficient in working with main control electrical control panels
- Possession of an F‐Gas certificate is mandatory
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Familiarity with USPHS standards and VSP construction guidelines is beneficial
