Job Overview
The HVAC Release Engineer is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive A/C line, pressure sensor and accumulator or receiver drier.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the components meet performance objectives and will coordinate development with other functional areas such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers. Duties will include writing source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables.
Maintaining component and sub-system DVP&R;, support and keep up to date with component bench testing, simulation, drive-cell and static cell test results as well as perform data analysis and establish proper corrective actions as required.
Needing to lead virtual team to design and perform CFD and FEA analysis for components to meet performance.
