We are looking for: Financial Controlling Intern
Role Purpose
We are currently looking for a Financial controlling Internship to join our dynamic team based in Milan. You will support the Controlling department in all related activities such as:
- Participate in the monthly closing process by reviewing financial results and performing cost variance analyses against budget and prior year figures.
- Support the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control of actual spending.
- Monitor key Retail KPIs to provide actionable insights to the business.
- Assist with store inventory control activities,



including periodic stock takes and reconciliations.
- Analyze financial and operational data, preparing ad hoc reports and presentation deck

What would you learn
- Develop strong analytical skills by working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
- Learn how to perform dynamic financial analyses to support business decision-making.
- Gain hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
- Build confidence in using financial reporting tools and advanced Excel to analyze and present data.
- Understand key Retail KPIs and how they drive business performance.

How can you contribute
Experience:
- Master's degree in finance or finance controlling;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Positive and proactive attitude;
- Strong interpersonal skills; team-work oriented
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point

Languages: Fluent in English and Italian
