This role will play a key role in supporting participation in the power markets to enable the delivery of Lightsource bp's development activity in Europe. Collaborating with the wider Power Marketing Team and Development origination activity to support the commercial goals and objectives including pipeline development,

auction participation, route to market contracting, and understanding regulatory and practical aspects of dispatching power in the market.
Track future developments with respect to wholesale market regulation, ancillary services, design and metering, etc.
Run RfPs for Route to Market contracts of the off-take for renewable and BESS projects, including uncontracted environmental attributes minimising basis risk to any virtual PPAs or CFDs.
Support on pricing and contractual terms of potential deal structures for our renewable and BESS pipeline. Interact with utilities to keep track of developments in the PPA market and evolving innovative solutions for power marketing to support development of the Lightsource bp RES pipeline.
Understand metering, data flows and other key aspects of dispatching and scheduling power and develop processes to support our activities in the market with the relevant teams.
