We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering organization and play a key role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and long-term evolution of our platform.
As a Staff Engineer at Nozomi Networks, you will operate at both a technical leadership and hands-on engineering level, driving complex initiatives across teams while setting a high bar for engineering excellence. You will own critical areas of the system, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers, while delivering impactful features and platform improvements at scale. In this role you will:
- Lead the design and evolution of distributed systems that power our OT/IoT cybersecurity platform
- Drive architecture decisions with a long-term perspective on scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Own cross-team initiatives, aligning engineering efforts with product and business priorities
- Identify and systematically reduce technical debt, improving system reliability and developer productivity
- Act as a technical multiplier, mentoring engineers and raising the bar on design, code quality, and operational excellence
- Define and champion best practices in software design, testing, and observability
