Job Description: AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
- Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
- Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
- Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
- Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
