About the role
We are looking for an Internal Sales Specialist in our PC Business Unit. The person will build excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge. They will generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and engaging in conversations around solutions/products, aiming to achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage customer lifecycle.
- Develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Engage in active inside selling using various sources to gather customer information.
- Manage customer backorders and report along specialist knowledge.
- Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions.
- Drive sales of specific products/vendors with required knowledge while collaborating with colleagues and the General Sales Force.
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system,
regularly review and update, and ensure active closure of opportunities.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Numerate with good attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Priority management and planning skills.
- Strive to achieve set targets.
- Understands sales process.
- Previous experience with IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM.
- IT industry knowledge desirable but not essential.
- Passion for IT is a plus.
