Why This Role Matters
This Maintenance Technician will keep our multi-technology facility running smoothly and safely. You’ll play a key role in maintaining uptime, driving improvement projects, and supporting compliance and safety across the plant.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on additive manufacturing machines (SLA, SLS, DLP, DMP)
- Manage the preventive maintenance schedule in line with manufacturer cycles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical faults and respond to minimize downtime
- Calibrate process parameters and manage the additive manufacturing spare parts inventory
- Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for specialized assistance
- Maintain CNC machining centres, injection moulding presses, and vacuum casting systems
- Ensure proper operation of general facility systems (electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, process fluids)
- Supervise external contractors and maintenance providers
- Verify compliance with health and safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/2008) and manage PPE and workshop safety procedures




- Track fault reports via the internal ticketing system and update plant documentation
- Participate in continuous‑improvement projects, root‑cause analysis, and monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, availability, costs)
- Support implementation of predictive‑maintenance practices (condition monitoring, vibration analysis, thermography)

Qualifications
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in high‑technology manufacturing
- In‑depth knowledge of at least one 3D‑printing technology (SLA, SLS, DLP, DMP) with hands‑on experience preferred
- Solid mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance skills on industrial machinery
- Working knowledge of CNC systems (3/5‑axis) and familiarity with injection moulding / vacuum casting is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret electrical
