Job Overview
Essmann’s Cabinetry and Millwork is a reputable company that specialises in creating custom cabinetry and furniture for a diverse range of clients, including corporate and church environments. With a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and tailored solutions, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Typist Clerk to join our dedicated team. This is a Full-Time position based at our facility in Venice, Illinois, United States . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our administrative efficiency and supporting our daily operations.
Salary: (45 - )60 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
As a Typist Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth running of our office. Key responsibilities include:
- Typing, formatting, and proofreading a wide range of documents, including correspondence, reports, invoices, and quotations.
- Accurately entering data into company databases and spreadsheets, maintaining up-to-date records of customer orders, supplier information, and project details.




- Organising and maintaining an efficient filing system for both physical and digital documents.
- Handling general office duties such as answering telephones, directing calls, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Providing administrative support to management and other departments as required.
- Assisting with the preparation of project documentation and client communications.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Proven experience as a Typist, Office Clerk, Data Entry Operator, or in a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong grammar and punctuation skills.
