Systems Engineer – Public Sector (PAC/Defence)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to support our Public Sector team, with a specific focus on PAC/Defence customers operating in highly sensitive and mission‐critical environments.
As a Systems Engineer – Public Sector (PAC/Defence), you will:
Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for Defence, national security, and government‐aligned organisations, including responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Manage and coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, ensuring alignment with strict security, accreditation, and operational requirements common in Defence and classified environments.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for PAC/Defence customers and partners,
working closely with your sales counterpart to support account strategy and mission outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, including secure communications, classified networks, cross‐domain solutions, and compliance frameworks relevant to Defence and national security.
Architect solutions that demonstrate Fortinet's value in high‐assurance, high‐availability, and highly regulated environments, differentiating us in competitive and sensitive procurement cycles.
Confidently present Fortinet's solutions in customer meetings, whiteboarding sessions, technical deep dives, and documentation tailored to Defence and government stakeholders.
Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, as well as the evolving threat landscape, adversary tactics, and technology trends impacting Defence and national security missions.
