What You’ll Be Doing
As a Software Engineer, Backend in the Consumer Growth Team , you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of digital payments by designing and building scalable features that drive user growth.
You will be responsible for delivering features that reduce friction for new users and create sustainable value for our community.
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Own the story lifecycle: take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle—from technical design to production release—ensuring that product stories are robust, scalable, and meet all user requirements.
- Accelerate activation & trust: build and optimise the high-reliability systems behind onboarding, document verification, and security flows, ensuring users can start transacting safely within minutes.
- Drive engagement & discovery: enhance the app experience by developing core backend services for shop discovery, transaction management, and personalised consumer journeys through CRM integrations.
- Scale loyalty & monetisation: contribute to our "Plus" subscription plans, referral programs, and loyalty mechanics (poi
