We are looking for highly motivated Finance Interns to join our Finance organization.
The extracurricular internships will be placed in the areas of Controllership, FP&A; and Operations Finance.
The interns will support the different Finance areas in day-to-day activities and in specific improvement projects.
This role offers the opportunity to learn how a global industrial company manages its financial processes, and to contribute to data analysis, reporting and decision support for the business.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Depending on the assigned team, the intern may be involved in some of the following activities:
- Support accounting, reporting and analysis activities in the assigned Finance area, namely Controllership, FP&A; or Operations Finance
- Contribute to month-end closing and financial processes, including basic journal entries, account checks and reconciliations in ERP/finance systems
- Help with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, monitoring actuals vs budget and preparing simple commentaries for management
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Tax, etc
