Position Description
The Contracting Services Department Logistics Team is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a wide variety of daily administrative support tasks. These include: sourcing, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase requisitions for stockroom materials; reconciling and processing shipping invoices for payment; uploading material certifications into the stockroom catalog database; processing a variety of Laboratory web-based forms such as ship order requests, out-processing forms, and work order requests; processing electronic shopping carts and PCard purchases for supplies, services, and Logo Store merchandise; and scanning various documents for electronic storage.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 2.5 years of directly related experience required. Post high-school education will count toward experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience with ERP systems required, experience with SAP ECC highly desirable
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills required
- Must have effective administrative skills, attention to detail, be well-organized and able to prioritize multiple complex tasks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Hiring Range: $27.00 - $32.90 an hour
