Vestas Blades Italia S.R.L. operates one of the world’s most modern blade factories in Taranto, Italy, where blades for both on‑shore and offshore wind turbines are produced for a global portfolio of customers.
Job Overview
We are looking for a student or trainee specializing in Quality and Process Engineering to join our Quality and Process Engineering department. The role provides hands‑on experience at a technical level, mirroring the responsibilities you will take on after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation and quality of systems on the production line.
- Support process optimization initiatives, focusing on cost of poor quality, reworks and scrap reduction.
- Participate in regular work processes and team meetings, acting as a key stakeholder for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with engineers, operations staff and other project and factory stakeholders in an open, informal culture.
- Execute ad‑hoc tasks across different departments in Vestas’ value chain.

Qualifications & Competencies




- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and devise practical solutions.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good written and oral English abilities.
- Willingness to work effectively in a cross‑functional team.
- Motivation to acquire new knowledge in technical fields and assume new responsibilities.
- Solid organizational abilities, adaptability, and proactivity.
- Efficiency and structured approach, able to prioritize in dynamic situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
