About the Position
This is a Full‑time Seasonal Permanent 1021 School Principal (Elementary) position for Aviano Elementary School, located in Aviano, Italy. Federal employees in Aviano, Italy are currently entitled to receive a 20% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary.

To qualify, applicants must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience includes paid and unpaid experience, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. All qualifying experience, including volunteer experience, will be credited.
Resumes must clearly describe relevant experience; transcripts will be required if eligibility is based on education.
Education
The coursework must have been completed at, or accepted by, a regionally accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must provide copies of official bachelor's and master's transcripts (including EDS and Doctorate if applicable). Acceptable degree pathways are listed below.
- Master’s degree in educational administration/educational leadership.
- Master’s degree reflecting 30 semester hours of graduate level coursework, with a minimum of 20 of those hours in Educational Administration/Educational Leadership.
Applicants who hold a valid unencumbered fully professional administrator license with a certification comparable to the DoDEA Principal, issued from a State Board of Education of the United States and its U.S. territories or the National Board for Professional Teaching
