Join Novo Nordisk Italian Affiliate to help build a healthcare environment where innovation and prevention can reach the people who need them. The role is based in the Rome affiliate and sits within the External Affairs department, part of International Operations.
Your new role as Public Affairs Manager is to lead and support institutional engagement, policy development and stakeholder relations across therapeutic areas. You will contribute to national and European healthcare policy initiatives to create a favorable environment for innovation and prevention, in line with our commitment to patients.
Responsibilities Develop and implement public affairs strategies that support the company's priorities across therapeutic areas.
Monitor, analyse and anticipate institutional, policy, legislative and healthcare developments at national and European levels, assessing the potential impact of policy changes on patients, healthcare systems and business objectives.
Facilitate dialogue and partnerships aimed at improving prevention, innovation and awareness,
including the development of advocacy initiatives and the implementation of corporate projects.
Contribute to evidence-based policy positions, advocacy plans and briefing materials.
Work with an integrated, cross-functional approach in close partnership with colleagues across the External Affairs department and the Business Units.
Qualifications A Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Law, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Institutional Relations or related functions; pharmaceutical sector experience is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of national and European institutional and healthcare policy environments and the ability to anticipate and assess policy impact on patients, healthcare systems and business priorities.
Excellent communication, advocacy and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, cross-
