Overview BW is seeking a Project/Design Manager to assist with the successful delivery of projects across Europe. Reporting to Project Directors and working closely with in-house Design Leads, the role ensures timely delivery of design and related project management activities. The position is client-facing and internally focused, requiring strong stakeholder management to price and execute projects on time. The role may include overseeing the management and appointment of third-party sub-consultants. Duties & responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication on project status, risks, and changes. Develop a deep understanding of project requirements, objectives, and deliverables to drive project planning and execution. Create detailed project plans, work-pack schedules, and timelines to ensure efficient delivery of all project elements. Proactively identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution in collaboration with the Design Leads.



Manage day-to-day project activities including scope, budget, resources, quality, and scheduling meetings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to deliver high-quality project outputs. Utilise project management tools and methodologies to plan, track, and report to the client and Project Director on progress. Prepare and deliver presentations to project sponsors, steering committees, and other key stakeholders. Manage change requests and ensure all impacted parties are kept up-to-date on approved changes. Conduct post-project reviews to document successes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
