Kong Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the AI Gateway team in Parma, Italy. You will develop core features for the Kong AI Gateway, focusing on multi-LLM routing, semantic caching and routing, and MCP, among others.
You will work on scalable, distributed systems, contributing to API management software and low-level optimizations in a remote-friendly team environment. This role requires strong ownership and communication skills in English.
