About the role: As Sr. Manager Quality Engineer for Power Modules (m/f/d), you will build and manage a team of product quality engineers that supports the lifecycle for all quality aspects of Power Module products equipped with SiC, GaN and IGBT. You will drive quality management strategies, qualification approaches, and execution for next-generation power module products on SiC and GaN technologies for industrial and automotive applications, collaborating with R&D; and cross-functional teams across development, manufacturing, quality, test, and applications.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong quality mindset to help drive innovations beyond industry standards and bring electronics engineering experience in power module quality to a fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities
- Support and drive the release of Power Module products in SiC, GaN, and IGBT.
- Actively manage customer requirements including product documentation.
- Ensure product quality performance during development and after release.
- Ensure compliance with qualification standards and policies,
data analysis, risk and change management.
- Represent the voice of the customer, drive quality requirements and expectations related to qualification and release, considering challenges of SiC/GaN power module design.
- Take responsibility within the Quality Management for Power Modules across development, marketing, and operations to meet customer expectations, product quality, and process compliance.
- Define quality requirements to achieve reliable and durable design through manufacturing.
- Correlate failure mechanisms with reliability measures and integrate into product quality.
- Drive early identification and characterization of failure mechanisms and link to performance and lifetime via simulation and predictive analytics.
- Drive and manage reliability testing with external partners.
