As a Java UI Developer, you'll join our collaborative Java Framework team, contributing to Simcenter STAR-CCM+ by building and evolving the Java-based client infrastructure across API and UI layers, working in close partnership with our Core Framework colleagues. You care deeply about clean, modular design, long-term maintainability, and user experience, and you're confident suggesting improvements that elevate both code and collaboration. You'll contribute thoughtfully to a shared codebase used by a global community of over 300 developers,
balancing attention to detail with the confidence to evolve and enhance existing solutions. Implementing new features and refactoring existing code in Java client of Simcenter STAR-CCM+. Collaborating closely with colleagues through tools like Jira, Confluence, Git and Bitbucket. Joining forces with our UX and vertical teams to craft efficient user workflows. Thriving with a modern IDE in a large, distributed environment. Working together through peer-based design and code reviews. Building and maintaining automated unit and integration tests. Navigating an extensive code base: hundreds of modules and millions of lines. Traveling occasionally to collaborate in person. Your succe
