Local Study Manager (LDL) – Oncology Location: Verona, Italy (Hybrid – 50% remote) • Employment Type: Permanent, tempo pieno • Closing date: 29luglio2026 COB
Job Overview We seek a Local Delivery Lead (LDL) for the Oncology therapeutic area to lead within‐country operational feasibility, planning and delivery of PhaseI‐IV clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
Key Responsibilities Accountable for within‐country execution and delivery of assigned studies to time, budget, and quality expectations.
Lead matrix project management of country and site‐level activities, including site management and monitoring.
Serve as the operational point‐of‐contact between the central Study Delivery Lead and in‐country staff.
Collaborate closely with local medical staff and CRAs to ensure compliance with IND/GCP/ICH guidelines, GSK SOPs and local regulations.
Monitor and report on local regulatory requirements and GSK corporate policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills University scientific degree (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, etc.).




3years of Clinical Operations experience, including at least 2years of in‐country monitoring or study management.
Strong understanding of clinical research, trial management, regulatory, processes and quality requirements.
Self‐motivated, independent, proactive with ability to influence decisions and build credibility.
Excellent communication skills and customer focus; fluent in Italian and English.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills Leadership experience motivating and empowering teams to achieve organizational goals.
Proficiency in project management: scope, budget, timeline, resource planning and financial reporting.
Strong risk‐management and contingency planning skills.
Collaboration across functional and geographical boundaries, fostering communication and teamwork.
