ROLE SUMMARY
The International School of Como is seeking a caring,



enthusiastic and proactive PYP Teaching Assistant to join the school from August 2026.
The successful candidate will support teaching and learning within the Primary setting, working closely with the class teacher to create a safe, engaging and stimulating environment for learners. This role requires patience, energy and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, inquiry-based and concept-driven learning experiences aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme
Work with individual students and small groups to support conceptual understanding and skill development
Assist in setting up and maintaining a stimulating, student-centred learning environment that promotes inquiry and agency
Support students' social, emotional and physical development in line with the PYP learner profile
Help manage classroom routines, transitions and behaviour using positive
