Responsibilities
The Governance, Controls and Compliance Risk Assessment Office has two primary missions: identifying, assessing and managing compliance risk through the Bank’s "graduated compliance model" and performing all activities within its remit as the local CPLE/CTL function.
As a second line of defense, CPLE/CTL regularly reviews and tests controls related to sanctions compliance risk, tests global compliance with sanctions policies, publishes reports, and tracks issues or corrective actions.
- Define the annual second‑level control plan.
- Perform level 2 permanent controls per the annual plan and methodological guidelines covering SGSS S.p.A.’s activities.
- Provide advisory support to other corporate functions and carry out verification activities related to compliance governance, conflicts of interest, and investment services modalities.
- Collect, review, and critically analyze information from legal, regulatory, and internal procedural documents.
- Support senior team members in executing and reviewing second‑level controls and compliance testing activities.




- Contribute to day‑to‑day operations of local CPLE governance processes.
- Support the application of the Bank’s "graduated compliance model" in line with the role’s scope and the candidate’s experience.

Qualifications
Studies & experience: Master’s degree in Economics, Law or a related discipline with a focus on Compliance, Internal Controls, Risk Management or similar fields.
Language skills
- English: Fluent (CEFR level B2–C1)
- Italian: Elementary (CEFR level A1–A2)

Technical, operational & soft skills
- Good command of MS Office applications; knowledge of advanced Excel (VBA), Microsoft Copilot and other GenAI tools, Power BI or equivalent business intelligence solutions considered a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to articulate concepts to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, rigorous work approach.
- Analytical mindset and problem‑solving capabilities.
