Product Specialist - Cardio Renal Metabolic, Lazio - Fixed‐Term Contract Location: Lazio. Role: The Product Specialist works within a designated territory to maximize sales of Amgen's products, achieve sales targets, deliver key messages and build high‐quality customer relationships. The position supports the broader Amgen mission to serve patients and contributes to a leading biotechnology company's growth.
Responsibilities Maximize sales of Amgen's products in the assigned territory
Achieve sales targets in accordance with the approved Plan of Actions (POA)
Deliver key product messages to physicians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
Collaborate with the manager to implement agreed marketing strategies and POA
Identify and establish high‐quality customer relationships and internal collaboration
Maintain in‐depth knowledge of the product(s), market, stakeholders and competitors
Work within agreed budgets and manage promotional spending
Live the Amgen Values in all interactions
Authority Implement the approved POA and key account plans
Manage promotional spending,



with unplanned or significant expenses discussed with the field sales manager
Outputs Achieve sales targets and deliver performance in line with job description and POA objectives
Maintain a high quality of internal and external customer relationships
Promote/maintain the image of Amgen in alignment with the Amgen Values
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in life science or biomedical sciences
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales‐related role
Relevant experience in a specialist area
Rigorous planning and execution skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Knowledge of local Value and Access themes
Basic experience in a hospital environment (for non‐specialist sales reps)
Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)
Fluency in English, both oral and written
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management
