Job Description
DXC Technology Italia is looking for an Application Technical Leader to join the Custom Application Offering.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end technical ownership of software and application solutions in the Software Engineering area, from design to production, ensuring code quality, scalability and maintainability.
- Design, develop and execute business and technical solutions for the implementation of new features or system upgrades/conversions, utilizing the technology stack: Java EE, Spring Framework, Single Page Applications, Microservices, Docker and cloud-based architectures.
- Technical guidance and support of junior and mid-level resources on delivery activities, code review and quality assurance.
- Analysis and resolution of complex technical issues on systems and platforms, through advanced problem solving and evaluation of alternative solutions.
- Direct interface with Business Analysts, Project Managers and stakeholders to gather and validate technical requirements, present proposed solutions and monitor alignment with business objectives.




- Contribution to the definition of technical standards, best practices and design patterns in your area of specialization (Software Engineering, DevOps, Cloud).
- Contribution to the hiring process through technical evaluations during interviews.
- Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies in the software development ecosystem.

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree (nice to have technical field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields).
- Advanced technical expertise on technologies: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, cloud-based architectures, design patterns and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, such as cloud AI services, LLM platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI), basic ML frameworks and integration of AI APIs into enterprise applications.
