Product Developer, Knitwear
The Product Developer specialised in Knitwear will shape the development of collections from concept through to pre-production at Burberry. This role sits at the meeting point of creativity and technical craft, partnering closely with Design to bring ideas to life while balancing quality, cost and timeline. With a focus on collaboration and expertise, you will help deliver exceptional product experiences for our customers.
Partner with Design to translate creative vision into technically feasible,

high-quality knitwear products.
Manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring prototypes and samples meet cost, quality and timeline expectations.
Own and drive the critical path, identifying risks early and implementing solutions to maintain momentum.
Provide technical expertise on knit construction, yarns and materials to support product development decisions.
Ensure accurate system updates and clear cross-functional communication to enable smooth production and minimise risk.
Solid experience in apparel product development, with a focus on knitwear and strong technical understanding.
Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams to achieve shared goals.
Strong commercial awareness, balancing design intent with cost and margin considerations.
Curiosity for innovation, materials and craftsmanship, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
